Your friends in Memphis would love to party for a cause at your place!

starting a fundraiser

Interested in hosting a fundraiser for Friends For All? Your party helps our agency create change for the better in our community. Our personal fundraisers are called “A Place at the Table (APATT) parties and can be as unique as you are: casual or formal, large or small, low-key or full of energy.  Here are some common questions (and answers) that can help you plan your event:

  • Our development team is here to help you plan your party. The first step is to contact our Event Coordinator and let us know what you have in mind. We will schedule a time to chat in person, including reviewing a party planning guide to better understand your goals and how we can help.

  • Any kind! We’ve had formal dinner parties, cocktail parties, concerts, brunches, backyard BBQs, dance parties, house parties … you name it! Your party can be as unique as you are.

  • The best rule of thumb is to think about where and when you’d like to host it—and how many people you’d like to attend. Also think about what would appeal to your friends and how much you’d like to raise. For example, your dinner party may be small but might bring in $100 per plate. A house party might be much larger and bring in funds from a cover fee or just the tip jars. We can help plan the best ways to fundraise once you know what kind of party you’d like to host.

  • Yes! We offer up to five hours of volunteer support for your planning, set-up and breakdown. Use these hours as you see fit. We also offer unlimited help in marketing your event.

  • Absolutely! Our presence onsite is up to you. We’d love to provide a fundraising table with gift envelopes, brochures, etc. We can also have someone onsite to speak to your guests or just casually discuss our mission and services with your guests. You decide!
