If you're a Ryan White patient and require assistance in reaching your medical appointments, Friends’ Medical Transportation Department can help you out! We provide referral-based bus/gas cards, as well as ride-share options with Lyft or Uber, exclusively to Ryan White-certified clients. Friends For All provides Medical Transportation services through Lyft and Uber transport service support, Mata all-day bus passes, and gas cards so our Mid-South Friends/clients can access HIV-related health and supportive services. Medical Transportation services are available as a payee of last resort to assist clients with transportation services needed to adhere to HIV medical care.
Referrals: Mid-South Friends/clients can express the need for Medical Transportation assistance to their Medical Case Manager. Referrals are required from a Medical Case Manager via the external referral shared link below.
Wondering what to expect to receive assistance with medical transportation? Our process typically goes as follows:
Get a medical transportation referral completed and shared with your Medical Case Manager.
The requested transportation assistance can be obtained by the client once the medical transportation referral is completed and received.
